Meet Heather Bittner

Here's a little bit about me......

I was born and raised in the E. Des Moines area between Pleasant Hill & Altoona. I'm a graduate of Southeast Polk High School and attended Grand View University. I've been married to my husband George for thirty years this coming May. We have two adult sons, one of which I have joined on his real estate team. 

My husband and I have been renovating and flipping homes for the past twenty years. I also have worked as a designer for a national decorating company, as well as owning my own design company - focusing on helping people renovate and decorate their homes. I grew up in the automotive business, as my parents owned a transmission business and also were real estate investors - owning numerous rental properties. So, real estate & renovations has always been in my blood. Getting my real estate license was something that was eventually bound to happen!

Away from work, I love spending time with my family and friends. I took up kayaking about six years ago and absolutely love time on the river or anywhere around water! I love to travel, especially to Florida and North Carolina, and also enjoy going on day trips and adventures around Iowa. Currently, my focus has also been on renovating a 1934 farmhouse on a small acreage with my husband, where we will call home once finished.
